FWISD Counseling Services Mission

The foundation of the counseling program is to provide developmentally appropriate assistance for all students, and at the same time provide special assistance to those who need it. To fulfill the basic mission of the counseling program in Fort Worth schools, we follow the American School Counselor National Model of practice.  Program balance is established to guide the allocation of resources to each of the four following delivery systems:

  • Prevention Education and Life Skills Curriculum
  • Responsive Services
  • Individual Student Planning
  • System Support

Ms. Cipcic

6th Grade and 7th Grade Girls Counselor

This is Ms. Cipcic's 8th year Meacham! While at Meacham, she coached both volleyball and cheerleading. She has also been the Lead ESL Teacher for 5 years. She taught ELA for 7 years and is now the school counselor. She is from Pittsburgh, PA and has lived in TX for 8 years. She studied Psychology at The University of Pittsburgh where she got her bachelor's degree. She also got her Master's in School Counseling from Lamar University. She has a fiancé that she has been with for 12 years and 2 younger siblings back in Pittsburgh. She loves cows and her students very much!
